Bridging Old-World Wisdom and the Modern Homestead together — from City to Country
Based in Hawai'i, practicing Korean Natural Farming and Permaculture Design across tropical and temperate climates.
Jaype Sanz is a Hawai'i-based Natural Farmer and regenerative agriculture advocate. Through Homestead Hangouts, his traveling homestead-skills workshop series, and the Farm.ily community, Jaype advocates for Korean Natural Farming and Permaculture practices that help people connect with themselves first and then their community. From the city to the country to grow food, foster fellowship, and move toward a balanced agrarian homestead lifestyle.
My Work
Homestead Hangout — Hands-on homestead skills, fermenting, canning, and more, taught right at your property. The flagship experience, and the doorway into everything else.
Farm.ily — A membership for people ready to go deeper: access to Jaype's projects and a growing community building a more regenerative way of life.
Mission Ferments — A line of jarred ferments, beet kvass, kraut, and more, built with a partner farmer's handed-down recipes, available only through Hangout events.
H&F Services — Hands-on land and home care: garden beds, horticulture, and the small jobs that keep a homestead running.
Come Hangout
Ready to get your hands in the dirt? Homestead Hangout brings the workshop to you — fermenting, canning, and the kind of hands-on skill that makes a homestead feel possible, wherever you're starting from.
